Mumble is a young Emperor penguin (帝企鹅) who unlike the rest of his colony, can't sing a note but is a dazzling (优秀的) dancer. Banished (被驱逐) for this perceived flaw (明显的缺陷) by the colony's rigid (严厉的) elders, Mumble begins an odyssey (长期旅行) that leads him to a band of friendly Mexican penguins...and his first encounters (碰到) with the two-legged creatures whose presence threatens the animals' Antarctic home.
The new animated (动画) movie Happy Feet sees the world's biggest penguins struggling for food, menaced (威胁) by global warming, frightened of humans. An emperor penguin named Mumble embarks (开始) on an epic quest to find out what's causing his colony's food—fish—to dwindle (减少). The culprit (罪犯), not surprisingly, turns out to be humans. The penguins are scared of humans, who are thought of as aliens. Penguins find themselves increasingly threatened by human activity. Threats include overfishing, oil spill (撒出), human encroachment (侵占), and global warming.
